Hello there! My name is Martina Y. Sanchez, and I am a burgeoning theater artist currently residing in Orange County, California. I began my theatrical journey at Age 9, performing through as many avenues as possible (i.e. Singing, Dancing, Acting) with the Napa Valley College Performing Arts Program and local/community dance studios throughout the City of Napa, which gave me a clear understanding of how performance impacts and creates communities at various stages of life. Through my educational journey at the Claire Trevor School of the Arts at the University of California, Irvine, studying Drama as a full art form I developed a deep passion for the art of storytelling as a whole. The root of Theater as a place and artistic discipline is connection. Why, when, how, and for whom, stories get told leads to amazing new worlds and characters, and as a Performer and Creative artist I hope to uphold the tenet of connection in as many different ways as I can.
